Holidays Self Care

Hello Friends,

Holidays can evoke a wide range of emotions—happiness and sadness, kindness and guilt, peace and stress, excitement and dread. This period, while wonderful, can also be challenging as family obligations and societal pressures lead to mental, emotional, and financial exhaustion.

Amidst the frenzy, it's essential to find a balance. Family members and societal expectations often push us to overextend ourselves, leaving us feeling frantic and overwhelmed, consumed by the endless pursuit of a “perfect“ holiday.

My intention is to remind you to embrace the holidays in a way that resonates with your authentic self. Prioritize your well-being by establishing healthy boundaries, allowing you to rest and respond from a place of love rather than a place of pressure and obligation.

Take a few moments throughout your day to connect with your true desires. It's okay to choose rest over socializing, even if others may be disappointed. Once you are at peace with your decisions, you may notice others finding inspiration in your more relaxed approach to the holidays. Break free from expectations (self-imposed and external) and stay true to yourself during this magical time of year. The holidays can be a time of peace and rejuvenation if you can honor your needs and authentically enjoy the season.

Wishing you a magical holiday season!

Stephanie
